Because this shirt is mainly used as a sleep shirt. I used to buy a pair of the same size at Wal-Mart. They fit perfectly. Both shirts were made a little. Not too much. But slightly more than what was bought at Wal-Mart maybe 2 years ago. Not enough to send them back. Or be unhappy. But more than enough to notice. Bought 3 colors. Medium size black, pink and green. Black and pink look great on me. Not too short and not too long in length. I'll say it's about 24 inches long after it's fully washed and tumble dried. I am 5ft 8165lbs and I am very comfortable. The green shirt is a bit too big for me in length and a bit wider. Don't buy green. However, black and pink are perfect for medium sizes, especially if you are of average height.

Tested for Navy Heather XXL. Loose fit, long enough, sleeves not too long, soft, comfortable and easy to wash. I bought these t-shirts for my family. He loves her. This is exactly what I was looking for. My shirts have been sold and shipped to Revain which usually means they are not fake and mine look exactly like the photos and pictures people have uploaded saying they are fake. They have tear tags so they may have fewer tags but whether they are real or not the size, feel and color are what I wanted and I am actually ordering 4 more pairs because I liked them so much.

Too many bad experiences buying Hanes t-shirts through Revain. In a previous attempt, the shirts went 2 sizes smaller. This time I get t-shirts with tags if the picture clearly shows they are without them (at least at the time of this writing).

Bad news: The t-shirts I received are NOT tagless. When I contacted Revain to let them know they sent a replacement from a completely different Revain camp and they had tags as well. I ordered 3x Navy/Heather so you might have a different experience if you buy something else. I went to the Hanes website and other people had the same problem so be careful with the buyer.
