Gorgeous light on CFLs

This fixture is an excellent temporary light source for construction. It has low power consumption and lights up quickly. Really better than a 500 watt dual halogen.

Pros
  • CFLs
Cons
  • boring packaging

Bright and easy to use

This fluorescent light features the largest curved Q bulb I have ever seen. Works great to light up our workspace at night and it's handy that it has a built in hook. Putting it together was a little more difficult than I thought it would be, but didn't take long.

Pros
  • Tools & Housewares
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Bright but glare on the sides. The dark spot is directly below.

I understand it should be bright but it's too glare on the sides, you have to squint to not see anything. It would be great if they had a thin, detachable lampshade that could be slid on the sides. I could probably do it myself, but I'd be afraid of fire. I'd rather get something like this directly from the company. It's bright and doesn't seem to get too hot. As with all spiral lamps, it leaves a dark spot just below the center of the spiral.

Pros
  • Light bulbs
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
