Simple and Effective Test

Unlike the HI 729 Fluoride Test, this one is very simple. You zero the instrument with a sample before adding the reagent. You then add the powdered reagent and run the test. I think you have to wait 2 minutes 30 seconds for results. (Perhaps this seemed easy once I fully understood how to get accurate fluoride test results.)

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Something Different

Great experience so far.

Received and tested water for chlorine/chloramines. The test result was much lower than I expected, so I suspected the blood glucose meter was not accurate. I called the county water company and the technician told me that my measurements were within the expected range based on tests done by the water company in my area. Very happy with the purchase so far.

Pros
  • Colorimeter
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Excellent product for colorimeter

Excellent product for measuring chlorine in water. This digital reading eliminates all guesswork and requires no sunlight to accurately match colors for reading. However, it uses up sachets of additives needed to measure chlorine in water, so I recommend buying enough sachets for the test. Another recommendation is to do this test about once a month and use other quick test strips.

Pros
  • Instrument for substance analysis
Cons
  • Slightly torn
