This is a gift for my daughter who loves ramen. This is her favorite gift of all time! This is the perfect size for all those extra ingredients you can add to ramen soups. Most bowls on the market are much smaller and not much fits in. The design is nice and the chopsticks are a good size. The bowl is warm when the soup is in, but not scalding and difficult to handle. Very very happy with the purchase!

Beautiful bowl. It's a good weight and the lid has a little play when it's in place. I bought this as a surprise gift for my wife just to be her. She loves ramen and I make it for her with diced green onions, sour cream and half a hard boiled egg. The portion lid holds these additions perfectly and also holds the heat surprisingly well. Remember that you should not fill it out too completely. The graphics are solid and the colors are bright and beautiful, even with a slightly raised finish.

Perfect size for instant ramen. The lid keeps the water hot while the noodles cook and THEN includes a few condiments like pickles, sesame seeds, sprouts, dipping oil, etc. to add to your gooey treat once the noodles are done. There is plenty of room for veggies and an egg/meat. The only caveat is that you have to be careful not to fill the bowl to the level of the chopstick holes or it will overflow. But that's a lot easier to handle than the mess that happens when you accidentally poke a hole
