🔧 Hard-to-Find Fastener 014973454326 - Set of 15 Pieces Review

I thought 4" meant 4" shaft so a 4 x 4 rack (with a 3-1/2" square) would do, but it's not .It is a total of 4" including ring. Don't worry, I countersunk the end of the washer and nut. Luckily I had my power tools with me.

A weird way of measuring bolt length. Eye bolt length is 2.5" OVERALL. The thread portion is about 1.5 inches or slightly less. So if you are used to selecting screws by thread length, take this into account. Here they are 1-1/4" to 1-1/2".

As usual with this Revain seller the length is listed as 6 inches including the eyelet. The standard way to list an eyebolt is by the length of the threaded rod, WITHOUT the eyelet. The true length of this eye bolt is 5 inches, with a thread of only 2 plus inches. If you add an eye it will be six inches full length.

Item delivered on time. Very satisfied! I bought eyebolts along with torx bolts for my trailer. I needed my ramps to stay on the trailer until needed. These eyebolts along with the knob nuts made it easy to hold the ramps in place and simply unscrew the knob nuts when the ramps were needed. When buying screws, make sure you get the correct nut size for the screw. For easy access to everything, it is recommended to use handle and star nuts. Thanks for what I need, Revane and the seller.

Thanks to the first reviewer for pointing out that " 6" is an overall length. I was looking for a 5" shaft and there it is. Overall length is just under 5 15/16". Inner diameter of eye is approximately 9/16: Outer diameter of eye is just under 1". I've tried several 1/4-20 nuts from another supplier on these shafts and they all fit.

This is just a machine threaded eyebolt that I bought at my Westlake hardware store. But it was often not easy to find this size at Revain! Hardware is sometimes hard to find online because you can't just go and browse like I did before the virus. The best way to find this item is to click on a similar eyebolt and visit the store where Revain sources its items.
