Originally bought the metallic rose gold case and there was a very tiny unpainted dot where the apple logo shines through. Since the dot was very noticeable, I contacted Se7enline about it and they offered me another free case of my choosing free of charge & I also got to keep the rose gold case which works very well too. The case fit my MacBook Pro perfectly! The purple color is kind of a pastel color and I like it! I am happy enough with this product to have ordered a second one after I discovered chipping and cracks on the corners of my first one. Since my Macbook Pro is rarely out of my possession I know that whatever impact might have caused the cracking had to have been minimal, so I don't know how much I can say for the sturdiness of the item. Purchased to cover up our old apple laptop. I get comments all the time in my college classes and I tell them it’s a cover. It looks like it’s attached to my computer. Like built in. It never falls off but removing I’m a little more worried about. The keyboard cover is just an added bonus. Love this!
