★[Pack of 2 / Premium Bright Finish] Multi-purpose solid carbide drill bits provide better rigidity than high speed steel bits. It is extremely heat resistant and used for high speed applications. Our tungsten carbide (WC) bits has the advantage of cutting metal either "wet" or "dry" and they provide solutions for many businesses such as aerospace drilling jobs for aircraft mechanics, precision machining, hobby supply, etc. ★[Recommended For Use On] aircraft metals chrome titanium inconel stainless steel Alloys Steel Low-Medium-High Carbon Steel Aluminum Copper Glass Plastics Composite Materials Cast Iron -- Our Carbide drills stay sharp many times longer than traditional steel bits making them ideal for the toughest of applications!. ★[Optimal Design for Metal Work] 118° four facet point angle minimizes drill wander and assures accurately sized holes. Our jobber length, precision ground carbide drills are designed for high feed rates with good chip disposal. smooth finish on the bits increases chip flow. Spiral flutes are constructed with a higher flute angle to remove chips more easily. ★[Specs] Tungsten Carbide Grade (ISO): K20 / Binder: %8 Cobalt / Hardness: 91.3 HRa / Uncoated / Flute Length: 1-1/4 inch, Overall Length: 2-1/4 inch, Drill Size: 1/8 inch. ★[IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING]Tungsten Carbide or cemented carbide is a composite material, although it looks like a metal, it is a composite of Tungsten carbide powder mixed with cobalt as a binder metal and the resulting material is more like a ceramic than a metal. It is a very hard material being a 9 on the Mohs scale where diamond is a 10, quartz a 7 and hard steel around 4.5. Due to its hardness, it will chew down into most anything But that hardness makes them brittle on side lo.

Drilled through a hardened steel set screw if NOTHING else!

Had to remove a set screw which not only had a fully rounded hex hole but also looked like a meteorite! (Yes it was SO hard.) Tried drilling this thing with HSS, TiN, Co and even left handed bits but it just made fun of it. So it was until finally THIS bit was used. Smash in and through like it's aluminum. However, be aware that sintered carbide drills are VERY brittle and break easily unless you hold the drill with vise-like hardness. And the fact that one of these babies leaves a broken tip…

Cut the stainless steel pneumatic cylinder.

Has what it should have with a few problems. #1, the metal is so hard that some types of drills cannot hook it. So if the drill gets caught slightly, it will rotate in the drill chuck, no matter how tight it is clamped. Maybe a different shape would work better for the part that gets stuck in the drill. Also, I accidentally broke one in half. The drill almost went through, it jammed and slipped in the chuck, and sure enough the drill fell out of the drill. Unfortunately I couldn't remove the…

Feel free to buy! Insanely cool beats!

You are welcome to buy these drills. I broke the screw extractor in the glow plug and got in big trouble. I went to all the hardware stores and bought the best drill bits from different brands. Went home and got six drill bits and after a few hours I was only able to drill a small, plain hole in the extractor, not much larger than the center mark I made for a good center start. I took a break, went online and found a video of these beats that had a link to Revain. I bought them and they were…
