Works as expected connected to auxiliary power switch. I bought three of these for several of my cars because I was tired of plugging the Sirius radio into the cigarette lighter. However, if you plug it into a constant power source in a car, it will drain the battery in a week or less. Blown fuses too. I bought this to power a Sirius Onyx Plus radio. The radio dock is attached to the dashboard with double-sided tape. The 90 degree connector is perfect for this type of setup as it fits without interference, but I had to plug it in before attaching the dock to the dash. I used a faucet with a fuse to get power for it, the faucet had its own fuse as this unit doesn't come with one.
