A great starter kit for making decent coffee. Durable, well assembled, easy to clean. I got lucky and bought this set for about half the price from Revain Warehouse Deals. It looks brand new. Goes well with the Hario coffee scale. By mounting the whole base on the scale, you can measure the amount of water when pouring.

To be honest I only got this because it looked very neat. I don't think it really detracts from the quality of your coffee compared to a standard V60. In general, the stand is good and durable. The glass V60 is a nice improvement over the plastic. If you love pouring and want something decorative, this is the perfect setup.

I'll answer two big questions I had before buying: - YES, it fits the V60 ceramic dripper. All you have to do is remove the black rubber pad from the top. It "kinda" fits the Jennings CJ-4000 scale. The bottom is not flat due to the mold. So I had to add some rubber feet around the perimeter of the CJ-4000 to keep it from rocking on it. The product works great and frankly looks more aesthetically pleasing than a regular acrylic stand. However, this stand always seems a bit unbalanced, especially when I move it around (e.g. on and off the scale). I haven't had any issues with droppers falling out or anything like that, but since it's connected by a single piece of metal it will vibrate and shake here and there if moved in any way. I bought this along with a size 03 Hario glass dropper and the combo works as expected. Although I only make one cup of coffee (not a pot) each morning, the size 03 gives me enough room to pour without worrying about the overflow that the size 02 used to cause. The only downside to this holder is that, if you are using a mug or cup that is smaller than it is large, dripping coffee when pouring tends to slosh out of the mug at the beginning of the drip.
