Coffee drips out: dining and entertaining

Great for pouring over. Keeps the coffee nice and hot. My biggest issue is the lack of an anti-drip feature. At this price they should have it. No matter how hard I try, I still get coffee dripping down the front of the kettle and onto my table. If you can get one, I recommend the black one. At least you don't see the coffee dried up.

Doesn't pour easily

Nice looking pot that keeps the coffee hot. However, casting is surprisingly difficult. Even when the pot is full, you have to turn it 90 degrees (handle facing up) to get coffee out. When the pot is almost empty it approaches 180 degrees (you have to hold the pot almost upside down) and it doesn't pour smoothly.

Great design and function

Perfect thermos for pouring coffee. That's exactly what I wanted. well designed; looks great and is functional, stable and it will NOT leak if you press the thumb release while it's upright (to release any pressure before you tilt it) and release the thumb release when it's upright again... the instructions state this clearly. Keeps coffee hot for a reasonable amount of time and warm for hours like any thermos. It can't keep liquids hot for 8 hours as some have complained because... well it…

Works and looks good too.

I bought this so I can keep my second cup of coffee hot in the morning. It works well, the coffee is hot when I get my second cup (only 2 1/2 hours after the first). No problems with pouring as long as I make sure the lid is screwed on properly. I didn't have any drips when pouring, but the motion of lifting my finger from the button that opens to pour is natural before I straighten up. This is a standard jug pour, personally I have no problem with it, although some other reviewers do. I have…

Overall a good buy

I'm a slow coffee drinker. I make 350g Pour Over every morning. When I'm done, my coffee is cold. This insulated coffee pot helps keep my coffee at a preferred temperature until the last sip. I could use any other insulated travel mug to achieve the same result. But the convenience of preparing the coffee straight into the pot is unbeatable. The only point of criticism, like many others, is the lid. If you use it daily like I do, the lid is extremely difficult to dry. You have to shake it…

It's nice. but not perfect. Keep searching.

It's a good looking carafe. Has a feel for quality workmanship. It is just the right size for two large Starbucks sized cups of coffee. First off, it's a dribbler. They will clean up afterwards. Second, there is no way to clean the path where the coffee flows through the lid/pour mechanism. You can try to flush it out, but as we all know. this will get uncomfortable over time, and once it does, it's time to either throw it away or use it as an expensive watering can for your plants. I was…

  • Too stupid

I've broken several V60 glass line servers so I bought this one after looking for something sturdy to do pourovers with. I was really drawn to the design and color (I chose red) and I find Hario products generally well made (though often very delicate). This coffee scoop works really well to keep my pourovers hot when I'm ready to drink them. It doesn't keep its contents as warm as my Zojirushi travel mug (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HR0WZP4/ref=twister_B07JHZH8ZP?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1), but it

A good little pot to keep your coffee warm!

I like to experiment with pour-over recipes at home. For breakfast or lunch, I usually make 12 to 16 ounces of coffee at a time. This pot keeps my coffee warm throughout the meal, which means it does what I wanted it to do. According to another reviewer, Nancy J. Brower, "What it doesn't do is retain heat. Coffee comes out lukewarm within 30 minutes. Then I put my coffee mug in the microwave.” When considering this purchase, Nancy's 2-star rating was cause for hesitation. Heat retention was one

Good solution for single serve pour over enthusiasts

I was a little apprehensive about some of the lukewarm reviews of this product but I don't really find them to be a problem. In fact, as another reviewer noted, for so many niche coffee products, there aren't many reasonably priced, temperature-maintaining carafes that can compete with the Hario VHS-60B. For now, at least, my rating is 5 stars, which I break down as follows: HEAT RETENTION: Let's get that point out of the way quickly, with one point that should be obvious to anyone taking the…

I've smashed quite a few V60 series glass servers so I bought these after looking for something permanent to cast. The design and the color (I chose red) really appealed to me and overall I think the Hario products are well made (albeit often very thin). This coffee set works very well and keeps my portions hot when I'm ready to drink them. The contents are not as warm as my Zojirushi travel mug (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HR0WZP4/ref=twister_B07JHZH8ZP?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) but good for…

Nice little pot to keep your coffee warm!

I love experimenting with pot recipes at home. For breakfast or lunch, I usually make 350-450ml of coffee at a time. This kettle keeps my coffee warm during the meal which is what I need. I was a bit apprehensive about some of the lukewarm reviews on this product but I find them largely irrelevant to me.
