☕ Hario VKBN-90CP 'Buono' Drip Kettle, Copper: The Perfect Pour-over Solution Review

I really like this copper teapot. I use my kettle to boil water and use this to pour my coffee. Good facilities for coffee on tap.

Darling teapot. 4 stars because it comes with a glossy "protective" finish. I love it when copper ages and shows its natural patina. Look for ways to remove the cover.

Beautiful teapot in design and function. I only wish they made a larger version as it's a bit smaller than I would have preferred. Time will tell how it holds up, but the build quality seems more than adequate.

Extremely extremely extremely upset. The kettle is good, it heats the water well, but the "protective varnish" came off with ordinary old copper cleaner! But only PART of the cover came off. So now my kettle is partly coated, partly uncoated and now looks so cheap and unfortunately quite tasteless. Such an expensive item and I have not seen any warnings against using certain cleaners especially those made specifically for copper!

This is a beautiful copper teapot and I love that it is made in Japan. I give 3.5 stars. The only negatives: 1. The lid is not tight enough. It should not come loose unless removed (this is an important and potentially dangerous defect (or design flaw) that needs to be replaced). 2. The insulation on the handle is not very effective. hot slightly larger until the steam was more visible to the eye as the water boiled This is my review I like everything else.
