Great budget forward controls

I have a 2006 sportster with a Patriot Defender 2 to 1 exhaust and these things fit just right. They are obviously not name brand since are made of a lightweight metal that is probably a lot softer than name brand ones. But if you are not planning on putting all your weight on them, then they should work just fine. I have about 2500 miles on these and I have not had to adjust or tighten anything yet.FYI: the instructions are crap!

  • Bought these installed them...drove down rd and its already breaking.

Ok parts , good price

They worked well and made the bike much more comfortable for me. Easy to install. One third the cost of OEM . I sold the bike, so I can't say how long the parts will last.

Junk dont waste your money

Very weak, bends easly, lots of play and there made of crap cast aluminum. I didnt feel safe even riding with them on my bike. Needless to say there in the trash now were they belong.

Spend a little more on a better product

The controls look great, however, there are a few issues more than a few customers have noticed - wish I read the reviews first.CONS-Not nearly as sturdy as OEM. I feel just the force from my feet resting on the pegs will bend the controls.-Paint in the threads causing a bolt to shear off.-Hardware on brake linkage is far inferior to OEM.PROS-Cheap-Looks niceOverall, I would not recommend this set.Overall,

Weaker brake Action

In all the product was very helpful but but the brake becomes less effective , Because of the leverage aspect is lessened Much more than the stock leverage Aspect on that rod Do the brake Cylinder.

No just no - my new review

First off this was one of the most difficult things to put together, as their were no instructions included. Then after putting together and installing they broke while riding. Cheap waste of money, also very dangerous.

Great for price for my opinion

Put on 08 sportster 1200 R with Bassani 2-1. Had to remove the exhaust to mount the left control. Loctite everything. Footing Accessories!

Must be mechanically inclined

Instructions were non existent! Rubbing with brake linkage that rattles. You must remove the exhaust system to install. Works well for the money spent.

Use Blue Loctite to ensure the nuts and bolts are well secured.

Well worth the money if you want the added looks of chrome to your bike without spending the HD dealer price. Obviously this is not original HD parts. I have a 2016 HD 883 Iron and I just wanted the forward controls for the cruising type look when I ride. I have achieved that with this item.
