First, "easy to install" is relative. In my case, I still believed I would replace failed connectors and wire through a 2" hole I drilled in the transmission lug. It was like that, or pull the gear. This is a very good product for adding to or repairing existing wiring harnesses. From an aesthetic point of view, it lends itself well to a very wide range of domestic and foreign cars manufactured between the 20's and 70's. It is not to be confused with a woven loom, but it is beautiful and practical. Functionally, it has good adhesion and offers significant wear and abrasion resistance, as it should. I love this product and would happily recommend it to both professionals and amateurs.

After reading some of the previous reviews I was a bit hesitant to purchase this product. I am in the process of rewiring a 1975 Dodge pickup and wanted to wrap all of the wiring prior to installation. This band is AMAZING, I will definitely be buying again. CONS: The only downside I have is that it's very difficult to start once it's wrapped around itself when you need to unroll it. So make sure you know exactly how far to wrap before performing.

The fabric portion of this tape met my expectations and looks and feels like fabric wrapped wires under the hood of a car. Unfortunately the glue is very bad! Glue is only present on the underside of the band. Only the existing parts of the adhesive feel sticky; most don't. As a result, the tape only stuck to parts of my item that was a stripped plastic wire. I will not buy this item again.

I bought these for some PC builds I was working on to clean up the look. For example, one of the power supplies had ugly multicolored "ketchup and mustard" cables. I was expecting to get a cloth tape that was the same as that used by OEM automakers so I could connect aftermarket headlights and have the same aesthetic and overall protection as a good cloth tape to protect my new wiring. on par with cheap velcro tape, I wouldn't buy it again and will probably have to replace this tape as it barely sticks to this material.
