I returned the first one because I couldn't open the clasps. The replacement is also VERY stiff and difficult to open. I think I'll try #3. I was able to open the clasps but struggled to open them again for about 5 minutes. Parents were in the space program so this design is a must!

This harness is great, my cats go outside on a 20ft leash. It doesn't seem to cause any discomfort when cats try to pull and overcome the resistance because they are at their limit. I have a cat that likes to be outside a lot and I want this little halter to be a good way to achieve both goals. Great thin set. Ideal for a light cat of small size. I was concerned that the kitten might come out of the halter/harness. So far she has not done the Houdini trick. The only downside I found is that removing the seat belt requires squeezing the buckles on either side to open and release. These fasteners are quite small and I have a hard time pinching them. My boy Haru has been wearing it for over a month now and it is sturdy and well made. The only thing is that one of the golden and luminous stars has flaked off while others seem to be rising. I may end up sticking some reflective tape over it if unfortunately all the glowing stuff peels off.
