Description of 🍵 HARU MATCHA - Organic, Handcrafted 100-Prong Golden Bamboo Matcha Whisk with Pesticide-Free Assurance

HIGHEST QUALITY- Beautifully unprocessed and handcarved from a single bamboo by skilled craftsmen. ORIGIN: Bamboo grown from Kansai region - Non Chemical / Pesticide treated bamboo. Although our chasens are produced in Japan, they are not Takayama chasens. Our chasens are meant to be a more economical alternative for daily use. USAGE: Designed with thin tines specifically for Usucha (thin tea). For Koicha (thick tea), we recommend a chasen that has a lower tine count that is stronger and thicker. QUICK NOTE: After a few uses, the tines/bristles may straighten out and the core will bloom, don't panic! This is normal and to be expected. Please do not store in the original plastic container, because it can mold. If that happens, no need for concern, just let it soak in boiling water and clean. Also if you are in dry climate area, sometimes the bamboo will develop hairline crack on the handle. To prevent this, please wet the entire whisk before each use. OUR PROMISE AND GUARANTEE: We are extremely proud of this product. Therefore, we offer a no-hassle, 30 days money-back guarantee if you're unhappy with your purchase in any way. No hard feelings, we can still be friends :)

Made in Japan on Japanese tea ceremony utensils

Couldn't find the Made in Japan bamboo whisk for a long time. So glad to have found this. It looks like a great quality product that means so much to me. I enjoy latte matcha every day and wanted a great product that I can make at home.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Long wait

Fantastic quality and great deal

Great price for a pesticide free matcha whisk made in Japan. The country's standards are actually pesticide-free — and cost less than $20! Make sure your whisk is properly maintained. If it is a match, you should NOT press down hard on the bowl

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Factor Set

Quality whisk from Japan! It costs a little more, but it's worth it!

Excellent quality matcha whisk! There were so many options online but I read so many bad quality racquet reviews for the cheaper ones made in China so I bought this one made in Japan. It's a little more expensive but I'm happy with my purchase.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Obsolete

Doesn't work properly

I've had this matcha whisk for a few months now, I use it almost every day and it still hasn't smoothed out. This allows me to make a very mediocre cup of matcha. It doesn't compare to previous purchases so I have to assume this is a poor quality product. I regret to say that I am now looking elsewhere for a genuine Japanese whisk.

Pros
  • There's something in there
Cons
  • There's nothing here

Breaks easily - Kitchen & Dining

I used to have another whisk that lasted quite a while. Even though I followed the instructions for this whisk and soaked the whisk in warm water before each use, it immediately snapped at the bottom. And I've only had it since the end of November 2019. I just ordered it from another company. Let's see how he gets up.

Enjoy delicious, well-blended Matcha in the morning

I chose this one because of the craftsmanship, the size and the fact that it was made in Japan. I also had one from China that was smaller and didn't mix. The old one (which wasn't that old) was starting to break off, so I knew I had to get a good one. My ceremonial Japanese matcha goes very well with this model. Spend the extra money as it's worth it

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Great craftsmanship and the smell of real bamboo!

Well done! I've been to Japan a few times and can tell when something appears to be made by a local artisan. I've been making matcha (both latte and tea) for quite some time. My previous chain started to wear out and some of the teeth broke. This time I knew what to look for. I'm so glad I paid a little more for this one. It looks like it was made by a master who knows his stuff. Small work of art! Unlike the previous tea whisk, this one also smells like real bamboo. The photo shows the middle…

Pros
  • Easy to use

Excellent quality and performance for the money

I gave this whisk 5 stars although I never had to use it because it was sent in an envelope and arrived broken. Tried to place a new order but it was sold out so I ordered their black bamboo broom which is exactly the same but dark and worked great. What drew me to these products in the first place is that they're made in Japan and marketed as pesticide-free (there's no way to prove or disprove that last claim, so I believe in good faith). Soaking the whisk in hot water before each use and…
