The best at all. about sewing supplies and consumables

Where has this thing been in the last 30 years of my life? Just buy it. Oh well worth the money. Shorten my departure time. Quickly put on a full pair of jeans, didn't you?

Must Have for Machine Embroidery

This tool immediately helped me remove the bird's nest under the embroidery hoop of my home sewing machine. I don't know why I waited so long to buy it. Now I'll keep it handy!

My favorite seam ripper

I love using it as a seam ripper (and sadly have to use it too often!) I find it a lot easier than a traditional seam ripper. This is especially useful when removing threads from scraps of cotton quilted on a long arm (as I keep these bits for practice and mug mats).

I just feel like I'm ripping as much as I sew! But. I bought it while I was working on costumes for a play. It's 1000 times easier and faster than a traditional seam ripper and works well on silky, flexible fabrics as well as heavy-duty fabrics. I was afraid it would easily cut softer fabrics, but with a little care (no more than a traditional seam ripper) you can quickly cut to the length you want, overlock or straight stitch.
