🦅 Hawk Performance HB561F 710 Ceramic Brake: Superior Stopping Power and Durability Review

Beware, they are listed as Ceramic but are not. They are ferro-carbon. I didn't notice this until I installed them and now they have reduced performance and extra noise as my rotors require ceramic to get the best results.

I trust this brand of brake pads more than many others. Always has predictable, positive braking. I bought this when I upgraded my 2003 Tahoe with bigger brakes, rotors and calipers for better and more responsive braking.

I have had these pads fitted for a few months now. I installed them myself with no problems, they don't squeak a bit and seem to produce a lot less brake dust than my stock pads. I now have noticeably less front end tremor when stopping, but I've also swapped out the rotors.

Not too impressed; Short lifespan. Using the original disc with this pad only increased braking power by 10% compared to the Centric Ceramic replacement. Delco's OEM AC pads did the same job as this product. Centric Ceramic (CEN30113630) couldn't even stop my car completely. After 16,000 miles (9 months) of driving, it only has 10% of its lifespan left. I would try the Hawk Performance Ceramic and see if the Hawk PC lasts more than 16,000 miles.
