Loud, squeaks at low speeds of 20 km/h and below.

Bought this pad for a 2008 AUDI TT. Squeaks at low speeds of 20mph and below, I'm going back to the OEM pad, can't wait to take this pad off

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Great for TTS '11: Replacement parts

Wear sensor plugged directly into the original connector. I cleaned/lubricated the contact points and caliper guide pins, installed the pads and new rotors, then did the Hawke lapping procedure. They are as quiet as standard pads with 10% dust after installation. Significant improvement in terms of dust, pedal feel and resistance to outdoor fading. I will use them for street and autocross but for track days I will use a different set of rotors with HP+ or better pads.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Operating speed

I haven't done anything terribly complicated/crazy with these

. I was instructed to install them. The connector for the bottom cushion is perfectly connected, which was reported on the Audi forums a few years ago, so this seems to have been fixed. Very quiet so far, braking seems to be the same as the factory pads but with slightly less dust accumulation. I haven't done anything particularly rough/crazy with them, I just ride them to work every day so I can't comment on how they fare on the track. I also use factory rotors and they work great with them.

Pros
  • . High marks for support and durability from testers.
Cons
  • . Expensive.

Minimal dust, low noise, good performance. Long-term.

Bought for Audi TTS, brake dust is almost invisible (very little dust, dust color is very difficult to see and washes away when it rains). Braking performance is very different from the factory original Audi pads (initial grip on these pads is less but gradually improves with pedaling depth, and with deeper pedaling position they actually bite a lot more, IMO this is a big one plus for precise control). Be careful! These ceramic pads are a much tougher compound that takes a lot longer to break…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Everything is fine
