This product has completely changed my kitchen. I had a hard time using the slab feature well. My grandmother could use it to change it, so it wasn't difficult. Only thing is we only needed one, wish that was an option.

OEM replacement for Futura style pressure cookers. After more than ten, maybe twenty years, the safety valve failed. Swapped it with no problems. Simply use a socket wrench to remove and install.

What can I say? These are pressure cooker safety valves. They open when the pressure cooker overheats and remain closed otherwise. Since my Hawkins Futura pressure cooker hasn't dried out, it hasn't overheated and they remain on hand to ensure I can continue using the pressure cooker without having to wait for parts if and when that happens. The one on the stove works perfectly. The method of replacing them seems pretty simple and I don't expect any problems if I follow the instructions.
