Worked as expected.

Worked great when I blew the transmission line to the transmission cooler on my 2000 Explorer. A few staples and the problem is solved.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Expensive

Great line/hose. for spare parts

Although I have changed my mind about installing a trunk cooler, I must admit that these hoses are of good quality. I might decide to use them later.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • I don't remember

This is not made in the USA! Made in Mexico

I bought this hose because I wanted American quality. The release photo says "made in the USA" but it's not. They are made in Mexico. You should update this specification as it is an important factor in your decision.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Nothing

Perfect replacement for Lexus LS430 lines

When pulling out the radiator to change the timing belt I damaged these hoses when removing them. It was the perfect replacement and fitted snugly into the transmission oil cooler line fittings. Even better, it only took me 24 inches to replace both lines, giving me enough extra parts from this package to do the job again in 10 years.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Perfect fit no leaks

I needed to replace a leaking transmission coolant hose on my 2008 Mazda 3 Hatchback (2.3L). It was a perfect fit, no problem putting it on, just rock it back and forth with a slight bend in the tube as you slowly put it on. I've been driving it for about a month since I replaced it, no leaks yet. You have an extra hose if you use it to replace the transmission coolant hose on a similar vehicle.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Quality

I gave this 4 stars for what it is. .

I gave 4 stars for what it is. It has a 3/8" ID, is reinforced and is also a Gates hose. I originally asked for 3/8 at auto parts and got 11/32. Doesn't work for my application. I thought the ad said that it was made in the usa but the hose says it's made in mexico i think i paid more for the hayden name than i should have just go to your local auto parts store and make sure that he will give you what you ask for.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Does not meet any SAE specs

I purchased this hose to replace the Gates hose that does meet the spec as this hose was the only hose that was delivered on time. This hose is manufactured by Gates and should be fine for the application. It just hasn't been tested against an SAE specification. I believe this is the same hose that Hayden supplies with their auxiliary coolers, so it should be good. Don't worry too much about it being made in Mexico (it's not made in China); I regularly (daily) use medical life support productsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Weight

Good quality 3/8 " tubing

I've seen pictures of Derale tubing and they look sketchy because the webbing hatching is protruding. This makes me doubt the quality as I have never seen another tube with this texture on the outside. I have used this particular Hayden 106 hose before and of all the transmission hoses I have purchased this is the best quality. It is clear that it is a 3/8 inch hose. Ideal for 5 speed automatic transmissions and Honda radiators. It says Made in Mexico, but the quality is still good.

Pros
  • Freehand
Cons
  • Slightly torn
