Worked on my 2004 Durango HEMI.

Worked like a champ in my 2004 Durango HEMI. There were problems with the car overheating. I changed the thermostat and when it didn't work I thought it was the fan clutch.

Pros
  • Original specs, fit and looks
Cons
  • Nothing here

Noisy! I do not recommend.

This clutch is awful. It doesn't turn off so my Durango sounds like I'm flying a jet plane. I thought "maybe it'll just break in" but didn't and now the return period has expired (my fault) don't waste your money on these guys.

Pros
  • 6" Thermal
Cons
  • Available in white only

Fixes my Dodge Durango's overheating problem

Last summer my Dodge Durango started overheating while towing a caravan. The old clutch fan came on and started to cool the engine, but after I got to about 3500 rpm it came on and the Durango started overheating until I got below 3500 rpm. I replaced it and this one continues to cool at 4000+ rpm and keeps the engine much cooler.

Pros
  • Meets or exceeds OE performance
Cons
  • Long delivery time

The fan was busy all the time

Purchased for a 2005 Dodge Durango 5.7. When I first started the Durango, the fan was on. I didn't think about it much, but as I was driving down the street, the fan stayed on the entire time. It needed more gas to accelerate, and more gas means more fuel economy. I'm already getting 10mpg! I removed it and sent it back. I must have received a defective one but returning it through Revain makes online shopping so much better. Hope someone gets a working one.

Pros
  • Designed, tested and built per request
Cons
  • Out of fashion
