🚐 1985-1998 Chevrolet Astro & GMC Safari Repair Manual: Complete Teardown & Rebuild Guide by Haynes Review

Very well written with good diagrams and photos. As with all repair manuals, a basic knowledge of mechanics will help fill in the blanks. I have nothing bad to say about this guide and I totally recommend it.

I've been buying Haynes and Chilton for my 'classic' rigs for decades. It's the least thorough I've ever had and is IDENTICAL to a Chilton of the same vintage. Very disappointing. There is an older version of the Chiltons that was available before Haynes bought it. This is the one you want.

All these books try to cover many years of production and therefore details are missing. Not only this publisher, but also another large company produces repair manuals. Go to You Tube or google your problem, someone had the same problem and posted a video or information to solve the problem.

The description says this manual covers the period 1985-1998 but when the book arrived I noticed that it only covers the period 1985-1990. Pages are creased. As always, Revane went to the plate and sent me a return label and my account was fully credited.
