The best thing about iPad when you want to read e-books easily. I use this in combination with a glass pen on a screen protector and that's all I need. It's hard to say it's even on the iPad. For travel, I just slip it into the neoprene sleeve and pull it out when needed. I don't like book covers with flaps.

I love TPU cases for all my iPads and iPhones. It's pretty good for the price and only the outputs are pretty accurate, especially the speaker holes, great design. However, there are issues with the back sticking to the Apple logo, making it appear as if there is water, but it really isn't. It's not a big problem if it doesn't bother you, other than that issue, everything else is fine in this case.

I always buy this type of back cover for all my devices including Kindles, iPods and iPads that I own. I really don't like the "book cover" type of case which I feel adds extra clutter to the device that needs to be light weight, comfortable to hold etc. These cases suit me best as they add support to the item on the back (most are slippery on the back) plus a little extra security in the event of a fall. I wish I had bought one that worked with the keyboard case so it's my fault for not thinking before ordering this case. I had to cut off one side and it works but will probably be replacing it soon as it's not as good and grippy as the Luvvitt case I bought for my larger iPad. This is the clear and soft plastic I wanted, but I've only had it a few weeks and the plastic is scratched.

This (back) cover is reasonably priced and fits securely. It has a good "grip", no sticky feeling. If you have an Apple branded smart cover for your iPad, it will not fit straight out of the box as it does not have a small cut out on the side where the smart cover attaches. You can easily cut this protection to fit the smart case. I cut mine with an X-ACTO knife.

This is a thin, flexible, transparent silicone gel case for the iPad. That's exactly what I expected. It's not a super defense. I added a strap that attaches to the two corners on the back to hold it up so I can flip it landscape or portrait. So both items together allow me to lie on the couch, watch TV and comfortably use the mini-pad in any position. . Good for home use when I don't need a lot of protection or a case.
