Perfect for our purpose

We installed this camera in our church to display the baptistery area on our church home screen. The quality of this little camera is amazing.

Perfect for livestreaming and large scale calls

I teach guitar to make a living and the pandemic forced me to go online. I found it lacked the quality of typical webcams and required multiple cameras to switch views. The Black Magic ATEM mini is switchable (and accepts HDMI), and 3 AIDA HD-100A cameras (with different lenses) deliver excellent image quality. In addition to webcams, I have experimented with a DSLR and a Gopro 7 Black. AIDA cameras produced images as good or even better than any other camera, but the form factor and ease of…

Great value for money

This is my second HD-100A purchase. I built a live broadcast system for a medium sized church using excellent but more expensive Marshall POV cameras. The church I serve now is much smaller and has a correspondingly smaller budget. So when I started building the live streaming system, I was much more cost conscious. I first tried one of the inexpensive Mifose cameras but was very disappointed with the picture. After some research I replaced it with the Aida HD-100A. It's honestly not the image…

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • Too long to wait

The designers of this camera chose to include a cumbersome octopus-shaped cable that plugs into the back of the camera and contains an integrated on-screen controller (OSD) with a mini joystick that then branches out to a 3.5mm audio jack, an RS-485 port jack and a full-size 12V power jack. The argument for such a cable is that the camera is physically too small to accommodate each of these connectors; makes sense right? In practice, however, the cable is bulky and has this FATAL flaw: you…

Nice mini camera for live streaming

I'm a live streamer and bought one of these to compare with a GoPro Hero 8. The app is intended for some chapels that should be unobtrusive, discreet and very just. For this reason I returned the GoPro and bought 3 more of them: 1. There is no standard OSD. Plug in a camera and it's pure HDMI. No forced menus to mess around with. Plug and play! 2. The standard camera lens allows me to set the camera at a distance of 2-3 feet to get a nice face frame. Has some fisheye options, but optional…
