Change Settings

I bought these because my PS4 said it was broadcasting in 4k, but as soon as I entered the game (Spiderman) my display switched to 1080p. I read this and found out 3 things about my particular situation. 1. My HDMI cable was not suitable for 4k streaming. 2. My receiver was set to "Standard" video. I changed this to 2.2 4k resolution in settings. 3. The checkbox for HDCP 2.2 was not checked in my PlayStation settings (found in "System" settings). All of this was made by me and Viola. This cable solved my picture problems. I've been using this cable for a few months now.

I have a one year old 65 inch 4K TV in my new home. When we moved into this house 2 years ago, I ran a different brand HDMI cable through the wall to the TV (nearly 30ft). At the time I only had a 45 inch TV, it wasn't 4K. It worked fine, but I had the strangest problem. Coincidentally, the TV signal just disappeared completely. I bought this to replace another 30ft cable I used on the original Xbox One for a few years. I don't know if this or the old cable was designed for wall use or not, but I've used both options anyway and had no problems. installed above the chimney.
