An easy way to improve the look of your truck

This is my second set of replacement headlights. They look great and are inexpensive. The most itchy set didn't come with any bulbs. I'm okay with that because I have a couple of high end bulbs and I'm putting LEDs for the high beams. They are made in China and I don't expect them to look good in a few years. The first replacement also lasted about 2 years and the plastic became cloudy and felt like sandpaper. They've been on for a few months and the right hand turn signal is slightly leaking…

New headlight lenses

I bought this new headlight lens for my 2005 Chevrolet Z71 Avalanche (K1500). The processing quality is above average. Thanks to GM, changing headlight assemblies is extremely easy. In fact, no tools are required. The exchange lasts about an hour and a beer or two! I paid less than 85€ including shipping. It's only in the "throw" orientation of assemblies. Generally not a problem, but there is an adjustment screw, like the original. I have to be honest, I'm a 60+ engineer and mechanical…

06 Chevy Silverado 1500 (V6 Work Truck)

This is a wonderful aftermarket replacement. I live in rainy Oregon so based on the reviews I bought clear waterproof silicone to enclose them and they are amazing. They lasted about a month without condensation and made driving the freeway at night a lot less stressful. There's a little "V" on the right headlight, but they're great for the price. They are adjustable but not as strong as standard cases. Chevy charged me $300-$400 for new headlight housings and at $80 they're worth it. They fit…

Good product for the money.

This lighting kit offers excellent value for money. The units are made of high quality materials. Not exactly OEM quality, but still pretty good. They don't fit perfectly like the OEM kits, but only minor modification was required to make them work. First, note that they don't seal very well around the lens (unlike cheaper aftermarket units). Just some liquid silicone around the edges and you're done. Second, at least on my kit, the steering/DRL unit on the passenger side wasn't latching…

Don't buy this! the best in headlight assemblies, parts and accessories

This is absolute rubbish. You look good. So does the midlife crisis sports car and the 22-year-old woman, but that doesn't mean they're a good idea. The bumper light clips are too small to actually snap into the slots in the stock headlight bracket. They can be pulled out by hand or moved while driving on the road. The low beam center caps don't really line up with the bulb on either side. Can't get enough vertical adjustment to really see the road with low beams on. It would be better to stick

Looks good but should be preventative

Headlights are solid quality, fit perfectly and look great with the amber color removed. They don't look well closed. I used silicone to completely seal the lenses. OVERVIEW: Headlights are one of the biggest replacements you can make to your look to completely transform its look and make it brand new again. I applied a ceramic coating to the lens to prevent oxidation and lens fogging. They've been in the snow and rain and fogging hasn't happened yet. Removing the amber completely changes the…

DO NOT BUY: Good Looking BUT TERRIBLE Reflector Optics

I have been buying these Revain style lower stand/daylight housing headlight housings for my 2004 Silverado for the past 6 years. While they only last 18 to 24 months before they start to discolor or peel, they cost around $80 for 4 headlamp shells, while GM charges almost $400 for just 2 headlamp shells. Since GM bulbs last no more than 5-6 years at best and are very easy to replace, you can't beat these Revain bulbs. My truck doesn't fit in my garage. Since 2013 I have ordered 3 headlight…
