Very versatile and useful DAC!

It quickly became one of my most used audio devices. My initial hesitation before purchasing this product was how successful it would be as a walkthrough. Will I notice any degradation in sound quality? Fortunately I can say that it does a very good job and I don't notice any lack of detail here or there or clarity etc. It does its job really well and I'm very happy with the results. I've used it with the Sennheiser HD6XX and Audio Technica MSR7 and they both sound great. easy to connect toโ€ฆ

First, the sound quality of the headphone amplifier. a percentage of that sounds pretty bad), but I'd rate it on the high end of the mid-range. The balanced output delivers decent performance and drives the Sennheiser HD650 well. Bass is where this amp performs best. It's tight, well controlled, with a quick attack and no unnatural resonances or coloration. With heavy music without bass, it seems slightly dull.

Well I wanted it to work. I really wanted everything to work. But that's not the case. I bought this unit for my second stereo to play music stored on network shares on my Win 7 PC and also connected to a Plex server. My Yamaha 5.1 receiver with network connection (3 years old) did the job but I wanted to upgrade to separate components and a better DAC. Once I connected the Yamaha to the network using an Ethernet cable and a router, it immediately recognized both the PC shares and the Plexโ€ฆ

Excellent Digital Player

This is a really excellent desktop/shelf digital player. All features/features work great. I haven't found anything that comes close to this level of quality and features at this price point. Network, WLAN and hard drive/USB stick work perfectly. This product deserves praise for its price. I'm sure there are devices out there that are just as good or better, but with this level of features and quality (build quality and sound quality), you're paying a lot more. The value is exceptional. I useโ€ฆ
