USB C Hub Electronics

It had all the features I wanted/needed for my new iPad Air 4 BUT if you have a case it doesn't work. The plug for the charger is too short. So I either send it back or cut out part of the case or remove the case back to use. When plugged in, it seems loose, like it's not latched. I would say think twice if you have a case.

Pretty useful patch for fixing iPad bugs

I'm glad it exists because the iPad's missing ports are its fault. If you have a protective case, however, the locking mechanism won't work, leaving a lot of heavy cables dangling from a USB-C port. This product does what it's supposed to, but if you're looking for a headphone/mic solution, it just doesn't cut it - Apple's problem.

Doesn't power devices properly

I have an iPad Pro 12.9 (3rd generation). I bought this hub to connect my Blue Yeti microphone which requires power to work. The first thing I noticed was the power light on the mic blinking (as if the audio was muted), but then I noticed the little blue power light on the hub blinking in sync with this. I tested the mic with another hub on my iPhone and it worked fine. This device seems to only have intermittent power, which might be fine for charging an iPad or other phone/device, but…

Slim, highly portable adapter

The adapter in question has 2 USB-A ports and 2 USB-C ports (one is used for charging). So there are just a few things that don't impress me too much. Everything works and works perfectly. Chargers work well, mice work, and external hard drives can be used. This adapter partially covers the speakers and does not fit very securely/tightly into the iPad's USB-C port.
