I've researched them everywhere and it's almost impossible to say with any certainty what works with which phones. Doesn't work with Moto Z3. Only plays audio or loads, but not both at the same time (so basically useless)

It works well, but when I plug in the charger while listening to music, it works. Stop sending music to my headphones and my phone plays loud when connected to the network. So I have to pause the music to plug in the charging cable and then press the play button or everyone at work will hear my death metal.

Works great with my Note 10 which doesn't have a headphone jack. Headphones C, which are harder to find and more expensive than regular headphones. I could listen to music from my phone all day in my office if it was connected to a computer for charging, for example, with just this adapter and a Type-C port on my phone. I liked that the length is good. Wasn't too long and not too heavy. I didn't want the weight of the transducer pulling on the cable and shorting it out. I didn't want cheap either. It feels like good quality. I didn't notice any change in sound quality and charging is just as fast. Comes with a nice little leather pouch when not in use to protect it from dust and dirt.

This adapter specifically states that you can charge AND listen to music at the same time. It's not mine. Once you connect to the charging port, the audio jack will be disabled. I also installed an ammeter in my cell phone. All of my AC and DC chargers charge at 980mA to 1200mA. This adapter only allows 250mA which is literally 20-25% of the normal charge rate.
