Wrong thread. - Plumbing

I have purchased this product before but the threads on it are slightly different and it will not screw into my Atwood water heater.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Large and Bulky

Wrong size.

They will not fit the wheeled water heater, they will fit right through the hole in the existing opening. I think it's 1/2" NPT, not 3/4 NPT. Buyers beware!

  • Certified

  • Not the best

Item delivered as advertised

I bought an RV water heater anode rod for my RV to extend the life of the water heater. The anode was as described on the Amazon page and arrived 3 days after ordering. I will order this part again and recommend it to all RV owners to protect their water heater from rusting.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Does the job, you may need extra work

These are used to 'pull' odor-causing minerals from your recreational vehicle's water supply. Before we had this diode, the water smelled like sulfur. It was easy to install and we haven't had any problems since. However, flush the tanks. We washed with peroxide for hours - it must have been four or five times - before realizing the smell was completely gone; gallon each time.

Pros
  • Grand Prix
Cons
  • Protection
