Looks sturdy but we'll see how it holds up.

I thought the background and drip pan were metal but they are plastic. Not such a big deal as the main frame counts. It seems solid but I'll see how it holds up in a few weeks when my work gets busy. I wash my Falcon 10 and 50ml tubes all the time and this is perfect for drying!

Not recommended: dryer for drying

There is good laboratory equipment for companies on a budget - it does not belong in this group. The packaging is sloppy, just a box too big for the item with no padding or packaging. I couldn't line up the skirt or drain pan properly and eventually found out that it was because the welds on each side weren't symmetrical, which was making the whole thing crooked. The metal tabs on the bottom of the skirt are (I assume) for attaching the skirt to the post, but you have to fold them differentlyโ€ฆ

A lot of money for a simple steel frame.

It serves its purpose but it arrived in a crappy box, bent and looking like it had traveled the world, which it probably was. I was able to straighten it, but the price was outrageous and for the price you'd think it would be reasonably protected. I would never have bought it if I hadn't had Revain goggles to help offset some of the cost. Laboratory equipment of almost any kind is a real plagiarism. That being said, it works great for what I use it for, drying lab equipment for yeast culturesโ€ฆ
