Ideal for jobs starting from scratch. There aren't many wires in the engine bay that can be insulated as the connectors are too big to fit through the safety wire.

You get a lot of material and they were considerate enough to include some shrink tips. I use it for some tight space cables on my supermotos and mini bikes.

everyone on the track said WOW what heat shield is that? I wish it had more heat shrink but for the price and 25ft you can't beat the performance.

After searching stores for this type of product I could not find anything that looked professional. I'm glad I bought this item. I will order another pack. I have used this item on my Harley and it looks professional and fits perfectly.

I assumed 7/16 was the inside diameter but it seems like a flat measurement. The box says 5/16 to 7/16 but the website says 7/16. It's more like 5/16 but overall it works but it's not what I expected.

Used to protect wiring in a 30 year old Ford Ranger project. There were issues with wires contacting hot zones and breaking down. Used to protect the Painless fuel pump relay wiring. Also, the wires to the O2 sensor usually burn out in the exhaust.

An excellent product for protecting cables and other heat sensitive components under the hood from the intense heat generated by a running engine. I have used several different sizes of tubing, tubing and cable and they all meet my expectations. That looks good too.

I have used this heat shield on my V8 Ford Ranger and almost 2 years later it is holding up great! Zero complaints from me! I would recommend this heat shrink tubing to anyone who needs to protect rigid pipe, hose or wiring from excessive engine or exhaust heat. I've used it for fuel lines, engine cables, etc. Very good stuff!
