Buy American - Power Hand Tool

I had to grind two mating surfaces that touch at the point of contact for the pan function to work properly. Mine was Monday morning or "hangover". I tried straightening the 1/4" rod with a vise and the vise broke. Material marking for low quality cast iron.

Cheap Chinese junk

Garbage. I used this for a month until the movable jaw broke. Absolutely useless. I didn't think it was very well made because the weight was so light. So I didn't tighten it, hammer it in, or do any other offensive things that you can normally do with a quality vise. But it still broke off when this user tightened it in his 60-year-old hand. Too heavy to send back so I threw them in the trash and started looking for old US made vise grips before the foundries took their products overseas and…

For very light use, possibly on rubber parts.

The box was torn upon delivery. I got the impression that it's smaller than I expected but was cast mostly in heavy metal. which can be damaged. I put it aside while I rebuilt the barn roof and haven't used it in over a month. Then I put it to an initial test by holding a 1/4" bent steel pin in my hands that I had to straighten. When I tightened it it didn't hold. So I tensed more. On this one Point broke the cast iron vise jaw in half. Not what I expected. I'm 72, average build, and it just…
