Good clamping force

High clamping force. A bit cheap in a plastic handle. The damn ends will pop out if you don't align them properly. Overall they work great for the price. 2 hold the upper side windows of my Jeep YJ and 3 clips hold the rear window perfectly. There are holes in the handles that I hang on 16d nails. Some handles splintered at the holes when hung and nailed with 16d nails (holes are slightly larger so not too small a hole) if I didn't hold the staple tight and prevented it from resting on the nail

Pros
  • These clamps can be used for gluing, clamping, gripping, lighting, photographing, etc.
Cons
  • Without automatic

I bought several of these clips at our local hardware store. So I searched Revain for more. The package I bought had 3" clips, so that's what I was looking for. As there is nothing in the picture to illustrate the size of these clips, I assumed they were 3" since the Name says 3". I guessed wrong. These clips are 3" long. NOT IN CLAMP WIDTH! There's a difference. I needed a 3" neck, making the overall size of the clip about 6" long. Again, there no other size is listed.I assumed they were 3"…

Pros
  • Very strong, fits most racks
Cons
  • High price

They are short lived outdoors

I bought a set two years ago and the last set on June 3rd of this year. I use them outdoors to provide shade for our plants during the summer months. I have trimmed to two of the six clips of the first set and five of the second set. Why? See pics. UV and heat kills the plastic - I know that, so keep them out of direct sunlight (UV). Maybe not too much about temperature changes. Cracks around the hinges are somewhat predictable but the spring breaking through the plastic handle was a surprise…

Pros
  • Maximum mouth opening 2 inches. Neck Depth 1 3/4"
Cons
  • So far so good
