When I first installed my manifolds I used aluminum spacers and they leaked like crazy. I had to remove them and replace them with these to stop the leaks.

They fit my headers perfectly and solved my pesky exhaust leak problem. Also, easy assembly due to the design - you don't have to remove the headers completely, just loosen a little and push in, and they'll hang perfectly on the first and last screws.

Use these on my 350 sbc. My heads have a square port and they have round port manifold gaskets. Although they did a great job of sealing my headlines. I've heard people with square port headers actually have better luck using round port gaskets. So far, so good. The diameter of the gasket hole is slightly larger than the widest width of the square hole (i.e. none of the gaskets cover the exhaust port.
