This splitter is not accurate and inconsistent. Arts and Crafts should require precision and this tool misses the mark. Through trial and error, I found that it creates ragged edges and uneven thickness. It's also difficult to adjust and requires frequent cleaning. The only pro I can think of is that it can be used on thin leather. Save your money and invest in a better leather splitter.

This item is very small. It comes without an instruction manual. It is not known if one should use 1000 grit sandpaper with it or if the texture of the product is sufficient to sharpen the facet cut. I'm disappointed

This item is much smaller than I expected. I would recommend that the seller accompanies the item with basic instructions and recommendations. At first glance, it looks like you just put your tool there and start using it. There is a photo showing how to use it with sandpaper. Put the picture in the package along with the offered grits. Since it's metal, I suspect it will last forever.
