Waterproof for boating

Fully waterproof. Thick vinyl plastic that is clear. The top folds in for a tight seal and is then held in place with Velcro.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Simple, resealable, strong pouches

These aren't the thinnest or thickest pouches when it comes to utility. They've done well on our kayaking adventures and I think we'll live off them for two to three years.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

Revainrating 1 out of 5

small transparent bag torn after 3 weeks

is not durable at all. The bag was torn open just before the actual return date. I didn't take immediate action to return it and now I can't return it.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Reliability

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Works if it doesn't break.

When the bag is closed properly and there are no tears, it keeps everything very, very dry. But! The lace puts a lot of pressure on the laces, making them easy to tear. A little too easy.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Unsafe

Quality product at a good price

My old waterproof gear bags were last in the kayak in May 2021. I decided to replace them with these. I was surprised. They are stronger, cleaner, and have better waterproof mechanisms than my others. I am very comfortable.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Only available in white

I kept my camera dry for rowing and sailing

I had a digital camera in Alaska to photograph bears. The last two days the weather was somewhere between fog and continuous rain. I just put my camera in a large bag around my neck and could wait for a break in the rain to start filming again.

Pros
  • Test for a year
Cons
  • Some little things

Don't trust.: Sport

I used one of these to store a cell phone - the top seal worked great, both gussets around the holes for tying something came loose. This resulted in two round holes in the pocket when I was fly fishing and water got into the pocket and my phone was completely submerged - on the third use. Look for another brand.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

A little chunky but protective!

Purchased to protect maps and guidebooks when hiking. They certainly seem to be the best protection from the rain compared to a simple zipped bag. The only slight downside I can understand is that they are made out of stronger plastic so are a little harder to put in your pocket and don't fold easily. Even if you're an "ouncer," add a few ounces.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

It worked fine at first, but it didn't work well.

Used all 3 for a weekend trip to the beach. The largest case fits the 12.9 inch iPad Pro perfectly. The medium size fits the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in a heavy case with plenty of space. The smallest case is perfect for my Galaxy S8. The first 3 days they were great. On the last day of the trip, the middle pocket tore the plastic where the velcro was attached. I do not recommend using a lanyard to carry devices inside, the lanyard tore the plastic due to the weight of the device.

Pros
  • Hard wearing finish
Cons
  • Damaged
