I bought special ziplock bags from the Hefty brand because I needed strong plastic bags that would seal tightly. Unfortunately, they don't close properly, making them completely useless as packaging. I used them for dried pork belly. Despite the name, dry brine releases some liquid because the mixture of salt and sugar pulls the liquid out of the meat. I bought these to store items that need to be kept dry. To ensure dryness I use 50g desiccant packs along with the contents; as I really didn't expect them to be 100% airtight (and they're nowhere near). The problem I have is extremely low quality.
