🍽️ Heim Concept Organic Bamboo Cutting Board: Extra Large Chopping Board for Kitchen, Ideal for Meat, Vegetables, Fruits, Cheese - 18x12x3/4 Review

I used two of these cutting boards in place of the original wooden boards that came with shelves I bought elsewhere. I wanted to use bamboo to warm up the room but couldn't find the exact shelf I had in mind so I made two of these. PERFECT!

I love this board! I've always been looking for the perfect board to create the perfect cheese display. My search ended at this board. It's a good weight but not too flimsy, making it ideal for entertaining. Quality and price are great too. Judging by the photo I've attached, it fits a lot of items! Highly recommended.

This is a beautifully crafted, attractive cutting board. It's smaller than I expected but it's on me - should have measured more carefully. You need to put silicone feet on it to keep it in place as it is not heavy. The limitation is the fluid groove. When you cut meat, it fills up and overflows pretty quickly. In general, however, very satisfied and the price is pleasant.

I would not recommend this item at all. It arrived with a cutting board covered in tiny tiny shavings of wood. Of course you want to wash a new kitchen utensil before using it, but those little pieces of wood were so hard that even after a thorough wash, they completely detached. Also, after using this cutting board for the first time, I noticed that the wood was so soft and thin that the knife created more flakes in the wood.

UPDATE: This board looked cheap when it arrived and unfortunately it turned out to be true. It opened wide after just 3 weeks of regular use. AVOID THIS PRODUCT. Bought with another "organic" bamboo cutting board. Again, our confidence that this item is even remotely organic is extremely low. No recognizable brand symbol or even marketing phrases that give us confidence. It's a machine board, that's all.

Bought for cutting large joints of meat and other large culinary projects. Bamboo looks beautiful and has an attractive shape. The board is solid and heavy (solid, not bulky) It doesn't slide on my countertop like some cheaper plastic boards do. I can bang things on it, drop things on it, and cut it without tearing or ruining the finish. The surrounding juice groove is well thought out and works well to keep my countertop dry with all but the most liquid of items (like a large watermelon). This

So I'm very disappointed in this board. Which makes me sad because I was looking forward to it. I got it on a Sunday, used it once, cleaned it with minimal water (it was a fun time - heavy sarcasm), dried it and put it away.
