Useless waste of plastic money

Bought for our school group of grades 1-4. The needles could not penetrate the soft felt. You are completely useless. I even took a razor and tried to sharpen the tip but nothing changed.

Eye of needle too big

First of all, these needles are great for little hands and for kids learning to sew. I bought these for my 6 year old son because he really wanted to learn and I didn't want him sticking himself with a real needle. They're great for demonstrating the concept of different stitches, but the eyelet leaves a HUGE hole in the fabric. things to consider!

Only the smallest needle will go through the plastic mesh "tarpaulin ".

I bought this to teach young children (including those who may or never become "trusted" with really sharp metal needles due to a disability) how to sew plastic sewing braid. I don't know if it's possible to buy plastic mesh with different mesh hole sizes - but in what appears to be a "standard" size, only the smallest needle goes through the holes in the mesh. I tried two "yarns" with double thread. One is 100% cotton sock darning from Walmart, the other is DMC embroidery thread. Darning…
