Changed design. This tool comes with a plastic guide which is awful. I've installed a lot of spiral coils in my time so this isn't my first rodeo. Tried several times, and almost every time the tongue broke off. I had to drill and insert a bushing after spending my money on it.

Good product good seller. The product works great if you know how to use it properly. The first plug-in tool broke because the cylinder head wasn't completely clean. Doh! If possible, test something else before final installation. Overall easy to use if you're mechanically inclined. A lot depends on feelings.

I bought this for my VW van after my engine mounting bolts fell out and the original holes in the engine block ripped open. Seems to be working fine. I think the original holes were M10X1.25 and this 1.0 kit had thinner threads. I'm glad they sent plenty of coils/springs as I spent about five before I felt I had them installed properly. I had to cut off a fair bit of the springs before installing because my holes were too short. I'm glad this product exists! Many Thanks
