The spark plug on my 2001 Ford Crown Vic had lost threads, bought a thread replacement kit and then used that kit to repair the coil. Works perfectly, no problems for 6 months. Be sure to use a torque wrench to properly adjust the spark plug.

I used this on a 1971 dual port VW Bus 1600 that had a #1 spark plug hole cut out, but I went with all four cylinders as I was pulling the engine out for other reasons anyway had to . These can be difficult to operate on many engines when installed, but overall they can be a lifesaver! Get the right set of taps you need for your engine and you could save BIG $$$$$$$$! Trust me!
