Just received this. Says it's small/medium. I have a big head and it's too FREE. Very thin material so unusable in winter, so yes it's 5 star "lightweight"; it's a piece of junk. This hat is very overpriced. Definitely NOT happy with this purchase. Unfortunately, where I am, the documents have also been destroyed, so I cannot send them back. Very frustrating.

I like this article but honestly it's not worth it. Go to Walmart, buy a hat for $2 (it will be a lot warmer there), go to a local handyman and sew on some velcro, maybe $5-10, you would end up spending $7-12 total and would still have got much less price from it after delivery. If you're thinking of buying, don't. It looks really cool but not warm and I have very short hair and it doesn't fit right. But it looks cool.

Worn all day in Missoula, Montana. Today. It was about 20 feet, it basically fit my head and was nice and warm as I walked across the parking lot. When the wind picked up a little, I saw my mistake; I chose L/XL a bit too big. My "US/NATO size" is 7 ⅝ inches or slightly smaller. I think my head is BIG. But I think I was wrong. Maybe ask a friend or do more research. I still give 5 points because it does what it should and the quality is great!

This hat is not the best choice for very cold weather. It's very thin, but it copes well with the fall weather, nothing special. I really like the velcro closures for the front and back of this cap. You can put any patches you like and make them unique to you. There is also a small pocket on the back where you can put earplugs or whatever you want I think. I keep this in my shooting bag, works fine but don't expect it to block all the cold/wind. Happy with this purchase 👍🏻

I like it. It seems to have quite a high calorific value as it is light and thin. Just don't expect it to be the equivalent of a thick wool hat. You can attach the patch on the front or back.
