I've never had a hair tie that matched my natural red hair like this. The downside is that many redheads tend to have thicker hair and aren't strong enough for ponytails or buns. They are great for half updos, but don't fit twice around my ponytail. They also stretch/tear fairly easily, so I wash them fairly quickly.

Reviews were everywhere so I hesitated to buy them but ultimately I bought them because they were cheap and I'm not disappointed, actually pleasantly surprised! My husband stopped cutting his hair during the pandemic and started growing his hair out to wear it in a ponytail (reminiscences of being a hippie -Youth?). Most of them were just too big, and they ended up with so much hair sticking out in all directions that he looked like a mad scientist. They are small and go well with his thinning gray hair. He's happy, and I'm happy that I don't wake up in the middle of the night because a madman with messy hair comes out of the bathroom.
