a waste of money IMO for those who have basic wiring skills - wish I'd just bought a relay and saved $$. Very thin cable to operate a 100 watt flashlight, insulation not resistant to petrol/oils. I was led to believe that I MUST buy this kit to get the Rallye 4000 working - aren't they - they each have their own pigtail!

I tried installing this but ended up throwing it away and making my own wire harness from my auto shop. The instructions are pointless and the suspension itself is too complicated. The switch that comes with it is chunky and ugly and I can't imagine anyone actually installing it in their car. I bought several Hella 4000 for my FJ Cruiser and needed a wiring solution. I'm no electrician but wanted to install it myself. I couldn't assemble the strap myself from raw parts so I needed a solution. The most sensible solution for me came from the manufacturer of my lamps.
