Helly Hansen Baselayer Black Large Review

Many years ago I had a set of HH underwear that I wore mainly for cross-country skiing, then they worked fine. So finally got around to buying a new set. The fabric is very soft, making them very comfortable to wear both outdoors and indoors, and provides ample insulation while wicking moisture away from the skin. The quality of materials and workmanship is excellent, I will buy if necessary.

Excellent quality HH of course, but the size is wrong! I have a perfect L on almost every brand, but I needed an XL size in one of their baselayer tops. And in another baselayer top I really need XXL! At 5 feet 8,180 pounds, that's weird.

This shirt is excellent. Everyone knows this is inherently HH and the build quality is very noticeable on these shirts. I've been using this gear for 25 years now.

I ordered these base layers in black and white and am very happy with them. They run true to size, are lightweight yet offer great base layer warmth without being bulky - and they look good! I will buy again and recommend this base coat.
