Broken bootstrap in my review

You may be warm and dry, but the bootstrap has torn on BOTH sides. And HH does not sell replacement parts. They told me that Amazon has generic replacement products, meaning it's a known issue that they don't want to address. Don't order from HH. There are many other places where you can get better quality products that the manufacturer is happy to fix (you know who I'm talking about). Update: my daughter has worn them several times during the winter, in very cold weather and also in very wetโ€ฆ

Perfect for Braving the Elements

Through trial and error, I found that Helly Hansen's jacket is the best out there for boys' fashion. The insulation kept my son warm on a chilly morning hike, while its breathable fabric kept him comfortable during afternoon sports practice. The waterproof feature kept him dry during a sudden downpour. The only downside is the price, but the quality is worth it.

Get ready for the snow apocalypse: Helly-Hansen Kids Rider 2 bib ski pants put to the test!

I'm not a parent but I'm an aunt living near a ski resort and very lucky to be a cool aunt who can ski for her nieces and nephews. So when I came across the Helly-Hansen Kids Rider 2 Bib ski pants I knew I had to have these for my little kids. Overall I am very happy with the purchase. The pants are warm, waterproof and windproof, just what you need when skiing with small children. The insulation is great too - my nephew complained at one point about being too hot, which I took as a positiveโ€ฆ

Warm and dry

My daughter has worn them several times in winter, in very cold weather and also in very rainy weather. She stayed warm and dry. And zips on the trunk kept winter pants down so Snowd couldn't fit into her boots, which was a real problem with her old pair. Will buy again if she needs a size up!

I wanted to like her, but.

Based on the price and the brand name, I expected these pants to be better quality and last for several ski trips or until my son outgrows them. While I love the color and they fit well overall, I was disappointed that they tore the bottom of the leg within the first two days of use. I don't even know how it happened because my son is not an advanced or rough skier. Overall I expected them to be more durable for the price I paid.
