Helly Hansen Windproof Waterproof Classic Women's Clothing Review

I was planning a trip to France and expected rainy weather. I decided I wanted a jacket because I didn't want to mess with my umbrella. This jacket fit great and was a good weight. I seem to remember some people complaining that the sleeves are too long, but they should be a little longer to cover the arms. I had a good watch and also a cell phone and felt safe. Definitely recommend.

This jacket is beautiful, functional, comfortable and truly waterproof. The length on me (5ft 6in) is below my hips and that extra coverage is helpful on windy and rainy days. The jacket is light enough to easily fold into a pocket or wrap around your waist when not in use. surprisingly warm, so it's a nice layering piece. I really wish the hood was a bit longer or had a bill piece to protect my face.

overall I like the jacket very much. It seems like it is very waterproof unlike many other jackets available. I bought a size up so I can wear a hoodie or sweater underneath. However, the jacket I received was defective. The front left pocket is not sewn in at the bottom, so it has no bottom. I usually wear XL but went for XXL to make sure it would work well with multiple layers. I'm glad I went for the larger size. In very windy and rainy weather, I conduct excursions through the reserve. I need a REALLY waterproof one. Not waterproof. I had one of these jackets a long time ago and didn't get rid of it until the waterproof outer layer literally started peeling off. This jacket is different than this one. Reviews say this coat is more about function than style and I agree, but it has some accents that complement the coat such as: Slit pockets with stylish buttons alongside and the coat is cut at an angle on the sides, making the coat more flattering (see photo).
