Reviews say this coat is more about function than style and I agree, but it has some accents that complement the coat such as: Slit pockets with stylish buttons alongside and the coat is cut at an angle on the sides, making the coat more flattering (see photo). The hood also fits perfectly into the collar. I had a fancy sneaker style raincoat prior to this purchase and I prefer this one as it really keeps the rain out. It's also quite warm and retains heat and is much more comfortable to wear than my other trench coat.
