Terrible Threadlocker: Not Worth the Price

According to my experience, this threadlocker did not hold up even in moderate temperatures. Although it was easy to apply, the results were disappointing. The one pro was that it did come with a handy applicator brush. Unfortunately, the con outweighs the pro - it simply did not do its job. Save your money and opt for a more reliable threadlocker.

Pros
  • Prevents nuts and bolts from coming loose due to vibration or shock
Cons
  • Requires a specialized solvent to remove, which can add extra time and cost to repairs or maintenance

Outstanding screw lock, original

Loctite is always a good idea if you want the fastener to stay in place. My rule of thumb is if it doesn't have a lock washer or lock nut on it, get Loctite on it.

Pros
  • Securely locks bolts and press fits.
Cons
  • Security

Necessary. in Sealants

242 the only way required for all screws and bolts. Don't let those damn idiots tell you that the screw will never come out. I also use it as an airline tfp feed.

Pros
  • Corrosion and abrasion resistant. Can be disassembled if necessary. Easy construction.
Cons
  • infuriates
